What's on the drawing board for September?

Most of this year I have been working on a series of birds and animals using white charcoal on black paper. I finally finished the Secretary Bird, 9x12" on black paper. These pieces are moving from just charcoal, black and white, to adding white pens and white acrylic paint.

I am using a technique to gently spray these works on paper, so they can be mounted and framed without glass to reduce glare.
I do enjoy drawing, love line work and pretty sure this technique will keep popping up here and there. I guess part of this comes from my printmaking background. Elegant black and white prints have always held a special place in my art.
There may be some tree pieces done in this style, along with the drippy tree pieces. Who knows they could come together and we would have drippy black and white tree pieces.
