What's new on the easel? I just finished this zebra on handmade paper. It is 11X14" pastel and charcoal, stained with coffee. Now just need to figure out what the title will be for this piece.

I am thinking the words that came from all those that submitted to win one of the mixed medium tree pieces might come in handy. That leads us to who won? Changing Seasons was won by Jeanie Celio and her word was Grateful. Winter Glow was won by Ed Daniels and his word was Reflection.

I found both of these words perfect for this month. I had picked Hope to be my word for January. I had decided upon reflection that my word for February would be Gratitude. Interesting how those things work out. February is For Giving (forgiving) and we shall see what the lion or lamb bring in March.
